당신이 존재하는 이유

 
 
하나님께서는
세상의 모든 사람들이
그분을 알고
찬양하며
즐거워하고
경외하기를 원하십니다.
그것이 바로
이세상이 존재하는 이유이며
교회가 존재하는 이유입니다.
또한 당신이 존재하는 이유입니다.

제자들이 가서 예수의 명하신 대로 하여 나귀와 나귀 새끼를 끌고 와서
자기들의 겉옷을 그 위에 얹으매 예수께서 그 위에 타시니
무리의 대부분은 그 겉옷을 길에 펴며 다른 이는 나뭇가지를 베어 길에 펴고
(마태복음 21:6-8)
The disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them.
They brought the donkey and the colt, placed their cloaks on them,
and Jesus sat on them.
A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road,
while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road.

제자들에게 그런 요청을 한다는 것 자체가 매우 이례적이었을 것이다.
즉 무리보다 마을에 먼저 도착해 한 약대와 새끼 당나귀를 발견 즉시
풀어 가져오라고 주님께서 말씀하셨다.
예수님의 제자들은 주님께서 말씀하신 그대로 이행했다.
예수님께서는 “사람이 나를 사랑하면 내 말을 지킬지니”라고 말씀하셨다.
주님, 제가 주님을 사랑합니다. 또한 주님께서 말씀하신데로 행할 것입니다.

It must have been a surprising request for the disciples.
To go to the village ahead of them, untie a donkey
with her colt by her that they will find immediately and bring them to him.
Yet they did exactly as he instructed them.
Jesus said: “He who loves me obeys me.”
Lord Jesus, I love you and it is my desire to do what you instruct me to do.
